We are in the process of finalising teams with some individual nominations and player movements still occurring.
We aim to have the draw and full team lists up on our website tomorrow.
The competition will commence next Monday 20th July, with games commencing from 5.30pm. Each game will consist of 2 x 20 minutes halves and a 5 minute half time break.
There will be a 5 minute break between games and we ask that players ensure they are on time so we can commence and finish on time.
First and last games of evening will also be required to assist with court set up pack each night (approx 15 minutes)
Each team will be required to supply an umpire and scorer/ tech bench representative as follows:
- Game 1 and Game 2 teams will cover each other
- Game 3 and Game 4 teams will cover each other
We are very fortunate to have access to a facility of this standard, so please ensure below requirements are followed by all players and spectators.
- Facility must be kept clean and tidy at times, with rubbish disposed of and any spills or mess cleaned appropriately.
- Facility conditions of entry, rules and use must be followed at all times.
- Any facility and equipment issues, faults or damage identified or that occur during our use of the facility must be reported to the committee as soon as possible.
- Players are to wear appropriate non-marking sports shoes only on court surfaces.
- Players under 18 years are required to wear protective shin pads and mouthguards as per Hockey NSW regulations (strongly recommended for over 18 years).
- Players are to ensure the bottom/ hook tip of their stick is taped with a woven cloth hockey or strapping tape prior to playing to minimise surface marking.
Sapphire Coast Hockey will supply balls, spare indoor sticks and goalkeeping gear for players or teams that require it.
All current outdoor players will be invoiced via email for the competition court fees.
